I’m Roz de-Layen Vian, a photographer based in the South West.
I honed my skills as a music industry photographer primarily for artists managements and then for Pye Records. Then I left the music industry to become a journalist eventually becoming a photojournalist.
In the late ‘80s I was invited to photograph a wedding and this projected me into an exciting new realm of photography which I enjoy with a passion.
I teach photography and in recent years have broadened my skills to include landscape and portraiture in my portfolio.
With my wide experience I now embrace all areas of photography but still specialise mainly in weddings and band photography, for promo work and publicity.
Among my recent activities, I ran a very successful camera club, and subsequently invited four members to form Weston Photographers - www: WestonPhotographers.co.uk
We are delighted to say we are currently completing a project to photograph Talented Somerset craftspersons and their artworks - please visit the website to see.
In the meantime, please browse my galleries and I invite you to leave feedback on my Guest Book page.

The Staff Editor of Photoplus wrote of my work: I’ve been looking at your website today and I’m absolutely wow-ed by all your great gig and concert photographs. Your ability to isolate the subject and bring out their individual personality is top notch!
To see my gig photography please visit www.photos-4-bands.co.uk, where I now place all my gig and concert photography.
